Wow! This book was just wow! It really left me speechless. The true definition of gripping and unputdownable. Bulger created such atmosphere and suspense in Black Valley Farm. The book starts out giving you multiple pieces of a puzzle that do not come together until much later to create a puzzle that will blow your mind! I read through this book fast; I had to know what was going to happen and how it was going to bed. My heart felt like it was in my throat for most of the book. I haven’t read a book that has done that in a long time. It was easy to root for Clare and Nuala (the host of the podcast), just as it was easy to not root for some of the other characters. Anyone who loves a great thriller needs to read this book! I’m serious, go get it right now!
