“…it’s better to live with a broken heart than to never let anyone into it in the first place.”
Peyton has just realized that there is a man that she loves and she wants to run and tell him. Except on the way to him, she gets hit by a car. She wakes up in the hospital with amnesia. She doesn’t know her friends and she doesn’t remember the three men that show up at the hospital all claiming to be her boyfriend. Now Peyton hopes all of her memories will come back at some point while also dating all three of these guys to figure out who she was about to profess her love to. Will it be Shawn, Tyler, or Nash?
This was such a cute, fun book to read. It’s reads quickly and it’s easy to read in a day. I really enjoyed Hank, whom we meet at the very beginning of the book and again at the ends of the book. While not a major character, he provides a lot of insight. Peyton’s two friends that help her after the accident, Maya and Robbie, as well as her friend/landlord Debbie, were my favorite characters. They brought light, laughter, and love to the book, beyond the romantic love. It was so awesome that these three supported Peyton even though she couldn’t remember them! I will say this – the book was a bit predicable. I knew exactly where it was heading very early on in the book, even though Peyton didn’t. I think other readers will be able to predict it as well. But as this is a rom-com, I guess that’s okay. It’s a good, light-hearted read.
