MY REVIEW

The Returned is a multi-faceted story with many layers. It pulls you in from the start and keeps your attention. This book touches on child abduction, postpartum depression, domestic abuse, and so much more. I really enjoyed how the author weaved everything together in such a way that I would have never figured it out on my own. I think my favorite part about this novel is that even though Ally is in her early 40s and near the end of her pregnancy, it doesn’t stop her from taking names and kicking butt! Having a strong FMC is chef’s kiss in a book!
