Martina receives her invite for the 10 year high school reunion but she doesn’t want to go. She was voted the class flirt in high school and made a huge mistake. But now she’s determined to show everyone that she’s changed. She’s an accountant now and brings her conservative co-worker to the reunion. Old classmates whisper about her and at first she cares what they are saying. Then she realizes that the only opinion she cares about is Jackson’s, but will he get passed this huge mistake that she made in her past?
This was not as good as the first one. In the first one, I was able to feel the character romantic emotions. This was lacked that greatly. What I did feel reading the short story was how horrible Martina’s classmates had been to her. I hate bullying and this was straight up bullying. I wouldn’t have been able to show my face at a reunion, so for that I find her brave. However, this book seriously lacked any romantic chemistry between the two characters.
If you’d like to give this one a try, you can do so here.
