This is the fourth installment in the Reunion Flirts short stories series. Here we meet Alyssa, who isn’t looking forward to attending the reunion because her ex-husband, Kevin will be there. She’s there alone, and he shows up with arm candy. But then there’s Tate. He’s had a thing for Alyssa long before she and Kevin started dating in high school. And he still feels the same way. Will it go as he hoped?
This one was better than the last one, but still not as good as the first one. While there is more development and history in this short story, there still isn’t enough to attach the reader to the couple. Now I’m not sure if I want to finish the series. I think I really need a regular length book. I’m not sure why the author didn’t just write a full length novel with all these plot lines so that there was full development. At least they are an easy and fast read!
