“The map might say we’re on a mountain in Tennessee, but for the first time in my life, I could swear I’m in heaven.”
This was such a cute read! Iris’ brother is a hockey player. She’s had a rough year after a rough breakup. So when he can’t use a cabin that he rented, he suggested that she go up there and get some time for herself before she spends the holidays with her brother and mother. Similarly, Kyler, one of hockey teammates, also needed some time away. So Iris’ brother sent him up to the cabin as well. Then a snowstorm comes and they are both stuck there. He thinks she’s a brat and she think’s he’s a typical hockey player – a womanizer. Stuck for a few days, will they kill each other or have a happily ever after?
In this novella, we get the force proximity, enemies to lovers, with some spice and some heartwarming moments. Add in a cute French Bulldog and you got a sweet book! I especially loved how Christmassy it felt. From the decorating to the traditions, I wanted to take part in it all.
This was my first introduction to this author, but I enjoyed her writing. It was easy to read, and I flew through the book. I’m so glad I read this one!
