MY REVIEW
Have you ever read a book that you simultaneously wanted to savor and also speed through because it was just that good? That was this book for me. The opening scene is horrific but sets the scene really well for the characters. This is a romantic suspense book and the romance and the suspense are not in short supply. The action isn’t in short supply either. The action alone will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you want to turn the pages faster.
While this is the second book in the series, this can be read as a standalone. I actually didn’t realize this was the second in the series until the end of the book. At no time did I feel like I missed out on anything. I loved seeing how all things intertwined and how it was going to be discovered while it was intertwined.
This is an absolute must read for anyone that likes romantic suspense, action packed books, and/or books that have black ops!
