This was a great book with a refreshing concept. A group of book influencers meet up at a cabin in rural Kentucky to spend the weekend together. Originally planned by Ethan, who winds up not making it, the influencers Austin, Mara, Paulette, Lena, Memphis, and Logan are ready to talk about books, take photos and just have a fun weekend. But Lena starts to see weird things happening at the neighbors house. They call the police, but they don’t find any foul play. So what’s really going on there? Are these book influencers safe?
I really loved the plot of this book. Bringing together book influencers for a weekend away. I have not done with this with book influencers, but my book club has definitely had a weekend away. And while we didn’t have anything truly nefarious happen, let’s just say, we thought it might!
There were quite a few twists in this book, none of which I saw coming, which definitely tracks with KMod books! I swear, I don’t know where she comes up with these things in her brain! I have read all of her books, and this one is very different from anything else she has ever written. She really is very creative!
