No Place To Hide

By: Harper Ashley and Wren Hawthrone

“My name dripping from his lips is like an intoxicating drug. The perfect aphrodisiac.”

So I probably should have read the reviews before diving in head first into this novella. Blair goes to a local carnival with friends, she just wants to have a night of fun. She winds up chatting up a carnie, things take a turn and they get into a cat and mouse game.

Soooo if I knew this novella was going to be 95% spice/smut I would have passed. I don’t mind it in my books, and I do enjoy dark romance, but I also want a story line. This book seems to have been written for the sake of just writing a smut book. That is perfectly okay if you’re into that and/or expecting it. The writing itself wasn’t bad. I just prefer more of a storyline.

The atmosphere was great. And I think that these authors could extend the story into a real storyline. That I would read!

If this is your kind of thing, you can check out this book here.
