Worst Wingman Ever

“That’s the thing about kindness. You never know how big the ripple is. How one little selfless gesture can make all the difference for the person who receives it.”

This is the second book in the improbable meet-cute series and so very cute. Holly is a hospice nurse and her current patient is her grandmother. She goes out to her car one day and there is a note on the windshield, but it wasn’t for her. However, it begins an exchange of between her and the person who left her the note. But the person leaving the note was kind to her during this difficult time and it made the world of difference. But what happens when she no longer has to go to her grandmother’s apartment?

I personally enjoyed the first book more than this book, but this wasn’t bad by any means. It was, however, a little sad. Even though Holly’s grandmother was nearing the end, I still very much felt her strength. I also loved the last thing that her grandmother told her! But more than that, I really enjoyed reading about the kindness between the strangers. It’s so easy to be kind, and it’s free. But so many people today aren’t kind, even in books. So I really appreciated that aspect of the book.
