“The Book Nook was a charming little bookshop that felt like an old friend.”
Oh this book was sweet! And it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be! Taylor is at her favorite bookstore to pick up a book that she’s been wanting. When she goes to grab it off a table, a handsome stranger snatches the book, and isn’t nice about it. Being that he is an out of towner, she excepts never to see him again. But does she?
I loved the premise of this short story! I actually would have loved for this one to be longer. There is no insta love. Even in the little amount of pages (about 35) there is a build up. I do wish we got to see a little more interaction between the two, but it’s not necessary. Also, Taylor’s friend Dex seems fantastic so I would have like to see a little more of him as well.
The best part? It’s near the end, when he reveals a secret about himself. It was the best secret, and it was so nice to read it. I don’t want to say more than that, I don’t want to give the book away.
