ABOUT THE BOOK
In a quiet Cornish town, secrets run as deep as the ocean. Meryan’s confession to her husband’s murder shocks the community and shatters her family.
But all is not as it seems.
After serving her sentence, Meryan, fuelled by a need for justice and the crushing weight of her own guilt, embarks on a perilous journey to uncover
the truth.
But, as she delves into her husband’s past, she stumbles upon a sinister web of crime.
When her life is threatened, her only hope lies in the hands of her determined daughter, who refuses to let her mother’s sacrifice be in vain.
Can they overcome the darkest currents or will they be dragged under?
MY REVIEW
WHAT A BOOK!! This is such a great psychological thriller! It pulled me in right from the start and kept me the entire time. There were so many mysteries happening, I didn’t know which one to focus on. The best part? Not one mystery takes away from the others! And it wraps up so nicely.
I loved the FMC, Meryan. She was an easy to love character. I felt empathy for her, and I was along for the ride with her. The author did such a great job giving her a distinct persona, as well as all of the other characters. I at first didn’t like her daughter, Jenna, but then my opinion of Jenna changed.
The twists and turns, oh the twists and turns. I loved them all. I THOUGHT I figured out the biggest one of all, I was WRONG! I don’t like when I’m wrong, but I love when an author tricks me. That’s the best part of psychological thrillers.
This is a must read, so go check it out!
