Every week Max and Nadine Murphy eat dinner at the same restaurant, the same table, at the same time; it’s a standing reservation. Waitress Hannah never gets to serve them as their table is not in her section. But she notices them. She wants to know everything about them. She becomes obsessed. She somehow gets involved in their lives and learns that that secrets are being kept. Hannah has secrets too. How will they use them to get what they want?
I struggled with this book. Everyone told me that it was a quick read, but it took me a few days to get through it. I was honestly just very bored with this. I didn’t care about any of the characters, I also was unsure of the storyline until part way through.
The storyline itself was over the top, the reasoning what crazy. I just didn’t like it at all. The writing was easy to read, it was simple. I did roll my eyes a number of times. I’ve just read so many thrillers and psychological thrillers that this one is subpar compared to some of the others that I have read.
