A Curvy Wonderland

By: Kelsie Stelting

Many thanks to the author for the ARC of this book.

In this installment in the Curvy Girl Christmas series, we are welcomed back to Garland, Maine, where Christmas is magical! Here we get the story of Holly and Eldan. Eldan’s parents own a tree farm and they make him grant wishes that are attached to a tree. Holly babysits for two little girls; their mom works for the post office and their dad is gone in the military. When they find out he won’t make it home for Christmas, Holly and the girls help Eldan grant the wishes. Holly is full of Christmas spirit, Eldan is not. He’s more like a grinch. Slowly, Eldan starts to show a softer side, and begins to open up. But is that enough for Holly?

This is another sweet YA Christmas romance by Stelting. I really liked the idea of giving back in this book, and then having the young girls help with that. It really makes the Christmas spirit come alive.

Eldan opens up to Holly and gets very vulnerable in the best way that a teenage boy can. And she is there to support him in the best way that a teenage girl can. That’s one of the things that I really enjoyed about this book. It felt very authentic to teenagers, the jumping to conclusions so easily, the ease of feeling something for someone, it was all written so well.

Keep an eye out for this one, it’ll be out on November 8, 2024.
