The Last Trip

Sadie and Calvin decided to take one last trip before their baby arrives, so they plan a trip to the mountains. Before they leave, however, Calvin gets some shocking news. They decide to take the trip anyway. When they get there, they love the house that they rented, but then the owners show up and Sadie can’t help but feeling that they are watching her and Calvin. She finally convinces Calvin to leave and go back home. But when they get home, things don’t feel right, and what she doesn’t know yet, is that they are about to take a dark turn.

I had zero idea that KMod put out a new book! But as soon as I saw it, I immediately sent it to my tablet to read, not even knowing the premise. The Last Trip is classic KMod. It is dark and creepy. You think it’s going to go one way and then it takes a few sharp turns and it spins you all around. I enjoy reading KMod books because I know what I’m going to get. I’m going to get a book that’s fast paced, easy to read, and a book that is packed with twists and thrills. I often wonder where she gets her ideas from because I wouldn’t have guessed in a million years that this book was going to go in the direction that it did.

I do wish that there were an epilogue because I did have a outstanding question, but I guess that it could be up to interpretation of the reader. KMod fans are going to love this one!
