Seeking Mr. Right

By: Tabitha Bree

“You shouldn’t have to lower your expectations just because people refuse to meet them.”

In this second installment of this series, Robbie gets cut off from his parents money and moves in with Alexis. Being that their in their thirties, they decide that this would be a good time for a relationship trial. Either they can make it living together or not. Soon enough, Robbie gets a new job that keeps him out late and hanging out with a beautiful woman on top of him leaving a mess in the apartment. But can Robbie really change his ways, and can she really open up her heart and let him in?

This was a cute novella. The majority of the book really focused on the relationship troubles that the two were having. In fact, there wasn’t much interaction between the two at all. Alexis and Robbie decide to do this thirty day relationship trial and then the days skip by so quickly. I’m not saying we needed a chapter for every day, but maybe a few more days.

Yes, the author did portray realistically what it looks like to live together with someone sometimes. It’s not always romance and roses. Sometimes you’re ships passing in the night, sometimes you get annoyed at the clothes laying around or the when the other person forgets to pick up something at the store. These things happen.

The ending was just okay for me. Everything is feeling a little rushed with Alexis and Robbie. I’ll probably read the third book when I need something quick to read.
