Brittany hasn’t had the greatest upbringing. She leaves everything behind to become a coach for a men’s rugby team, the same rugby team her brother’s plays for. Prior to starting, she has a one night stand who leaves her in her hotel room with nothing but a note. The day that she starts her job, she realizes that the guy she was with is on the rugby team, is her brother’s friend, and that their attraction is more than just a one night stand.
Instalove isn’t my favorite, and at first I was kind of like ugh. BUT, it worked here. It worked SO well, I fell for Asher. Yeah he’s a little over the top. He’s protective in the best kind of way. The things he does may seem like too much but underneath, it just shows that he cares, and then it’s just REALLY sweet. Though, I will say, if a guy said something of things he said, I would probably roll my eyes. But that’s just because I don’t believe guys when they say those things to me. I digress. Asher turns out to be one of my favorite MMCs that I have read.
There are aspects this story that I didn’t expect, and I don’t want to give them away because I believe in spoiler free reviews! Just put it this way, it’s not something I saw coming, and Asher (and even her brother) handle the situation perfectly. These men really care about her and sometimes, it’s nice to know that you’re cared about.
This book is DEFINITELY spicy, but not something that you can’t stomach. I do appreciate the author put trigger warnings in the beginning of the book. Two words – mashed potatoes?
