Tiff has been watching Riot Crossbourne since they’ve been in high school together. He’s the drummer of his band, and she wants him to notice her. She’s slidden into his DMs under a fake name, and has no idea that she is his stalker. She uses this Halloween as a way to reveal who she is and fulfill one of his fantasies. After that, she knows he will be hers.
Based on the description and the cover, I expected this book/novella to be darker than it really is. Honestly, it felt like a girl who had a teenage obsession that never left. He tried to get rid of her, and finally, somehow, she won him over. There was a lot of spice in the book, and a pretty decent ending. Since this was a novella, I felt like nothing was really developed, and everything was kind of rushed. The author could have done so much with this FMC stalker!
If you want a lighter dark romance, and I mean super light dark romance, then this would be the book for you. It’s a fast read only at 164 pages. Unfortunately for me, this one just missed the mark. But that’s okay! Not every book is for every person, and there are plenty of others out there that are going to really enjoy this one!
