Wings of Madness

By: R. John Dingle

Many thanks to the author for the ARC of this book!

Agent Gus Wheeler and his partner Vanessa are called to Pawtucket Falls in New England to investigate a matter in which two girls have gone missing and found murdered, and a third girl has gone missing. The missing girls don’t seem to have any connection other than they were taken from clubs on Music Row. Camera footage shows the girls talking with members of a specific band, but none of the footage shows the girls leaving with them, or leaving the club at all. How are these girls being taken? By who? Just when they think they have found their suspect, there is a close strike and now it’s a race against time.

I’m so impressed by this author. I’ve read this author’s debut novel and now this one and hands down these books are some of the best written books that I have read. The writing is easy to read, it flows well, it’s engaging, the plot is well written, the characters are intriguing and likeable, there’s twist in the story that you won’t see coming, and the maturity of the writing is on a level that you would expect from an extremely seasoned writer.

I thought that I knew which was this book was going to go, and I was wrong. Just really, really wrong. I thought I know who the suspect/perp was going to be and yup, you guessed it, I was wrong! That’s okay – that just means that the author did his job and tricked me! I love that! There is tons of suspense in this book as well, like heart pounding suspense, and while I feel like we know how it’s going to go, it’s still suspenseful! I’m here for ALL of it!

All I know is, I cannot wait for the next book in this series. This will be out next month, I highly suggest you pre-order this. And if you haven’t read Karma Never Sleeps, you really should do that now.
