Hollywood celebrity Dash Pine just had another PR disaster and he needs to fix his image. His team and him had the perfect plan – go to a cute Christmas town and announce he’s dating another celebrity, even though it’s fake. One problem, after his latest stunt, she refuses to be seen with him. In walks Ivy with a flower arrangement that she is setting up for his announcement. He talks her into fake dating him while he’s in town to help his image. Soon enough, those fake kisses feel real. Except when Dash’s mom comes to town, she tries to convince both of them that this isn’t what he wants and where he needs to be. What’s best for Dash? Only Dash, and maybe Ivy, can figure that out.. or can’t they?
This book made me heart swoon and swoon hard. It’s a closed door romance book, which I appreciated. I don’t mind spicy books but sometimes the spice overtakes the book. I fell in love with Dash and Ivy from the get go. Mille wrote this book so well that I flew through it! It was extremely hard to put down, which I only did in order to work! The chemistry/the pull that these two had was magnetic.
The names of the characters in this Christmas town were great: Dash(er) Pine, Ivy Jolly, Merry Jolly, Holly Jolly, and Mistletoe Mountain! If that doesn’t tell you how cute this is, I don’t know what else could. So, here’s the thing – these small town Christmas books make me want to find a small town that celebrates Christmas like this. Does that exist? I want to go! All of Ivy’s family was great, I loved each and every one of them! Dash’s mom on the other hand – she took some time to warm up to.
If you love a really good Christmas romance, then you absolutely need to read this book! It’s out now!
