Sonya Romano is on a mission. She had a creepy date with a man she met on a dating app, and now she wants to get revenge on the men that are cheating on their wives using the app. But it goes a little far when someone dies as she’s confronting him. Jake Parker is a journalist, or at least he used to be. Now he works for American Scene, an online news outlet that only cares about clicks and views, not hard hitting news. His boss tells him to write an article about the pros and cons of finding dates on a dating app. He stumbles onto something bigger when not one, but two married men are found dead after being on the app. He starts to make connections.. and they include Sonya. An attraction is brewing between the two. What is Sonya’s connection? Who is in danger?

This was a really good book! I really liked the concept of the book. There are so many married men, or even men in relationships (women too) that use dating apps behind their spouse’s/significant other’s back. The idea of confronting them and letting their partner know is a great one!

This book is a fast and easy read. The suspense slowly builds up throughout the book. Jake was methodical with how he was investigating what was happening. It was nice to see that he didn’t just go rogue and do everything on his own, that the police were involved. There are a number of reveals that occur in the book that you don’t see coming, but the big jaw dropping moment is at the end and it surrounds one person.

Overall, a decent read if you’re looking for a good popcorn thriller!
