“No self-respecting bear is going to go prancing around in a snowstorm.”
When Lily was young, she fell in love with her childhood friend, Walker. The last time she saw him he was getting married. Now, unexpectedly, he’s also going to the cabin in the Rockies. She was told he wasn’t going to be there. With a freak snow storm, and no heat or electricity in the cabin, Lily is finding it hard to suppress her feelings. And when the truth about what happened between them and why Walker acted the way he did is revealed, Lily finds it hard to keep hating him.
This is such a sweet, quick read. I loved the chemistry between Walker and Lily. You got to know the characters as much as you could with this book being as short as it is. BUT, I have a feeling like others that have read this, the 51 pages is NOT enough for these two. When I finished it, I found myself wanting more of them. Wanting to know how things were going to work out, if they would work out. I had so many questions and I just wanted more.
That’s the sign of a great author though, when you want more of their characters! I really hope that there is a short story sequel for this one, or that this is turned into a full length novel starting from where it left off!
If you need a sweet, quick read, and like romance, don’t hesitate to pick this one up!
