The Amendment

You know you’re going to get a great book when by the end of the first chapter, your mouth is agape with shock!

First there was The Arrangement (a must read before you read this book, otherwise you’ll be lost). Now, there is The Amendment. Peter and Ainsley’s story continues here. The book starts off sometime after the end of the Amendment. Ainsley is doing anything and everything to stop Peter for lying to her, to stop Peter from keeping secrets from her. So, they come to amend their arragement.

This book provides insight into Peter and Ainsley, and their backgrounds. It was extremely helpful to know Peter’s background and how he got to be the man he is today. His explanations allowed the reader to understand him better, even if they didn’t like him or agree with what he does.

The twist towards the end of the book, I never saw coming. Kiersten Modglin has been labeled the Queen of Twists, and she did not disappoint with The Amendment.

The ending of the book, while I technically didn’t see coming, I had a thought in my head that said something similiar to the actual ending. So I was super excited that I had thought the same way as KMOD! Also, I now expect there to be a third book (or at least hoping!)
