The third in The Advocate Series, DI Swanson investigates Adrenna Psychiatric Hospital after Summer Thomas, an advocate at the hospital, is attacked and fighting for her life after coming face to face with the devil. DI Swanson now has to figure out quickly who is behind the attack and what is going on at the hospital so that no one else meets the same fate. DI Swanson is also met with his own health issues, one that could cost him his life. Will he be able to figure out what is going on at the hospital before it’s too late?

This was an enjoyable, fast, easy read. It has everything that you want from a book – it was creepy, thrilling, and shocking. The chapters from the Servant’s point of view were the creepiest. And while I did figure out somewhat of what was happening about 3/4s of the way in, it didn’t ruin the enjoyability of the book as there was still so many more shocks and twists that I didn’t see coming.

I would absolutely see this evolve to a Netflix or HBO Max show. I think it would be so suspenseful and a joy to watch. I can’t wait for the next book in The Advocate series.
