Naomi is a runaway bride. When she receives a call from her twin sister Tina, she heads to Knockemout, Virginia to once again help the “bad” twin out of a sticky situation. While waiting for her sister in a café, her sister steals her car, leaving her in town with no car, no job, no home, and oh yeah, her sister has an 11 year old that she never knew about! While at the café, she meets Knox Morgan. After he finally calms down after he accepts that Naomi is not Tina. And while Knox doesn’t do romantic relationships, he is someone that helps others and tries to help her out of a jam. Once she’s settled, he can resume his normal life. But then Naomi finds herself in real danger.
Well, this book certainly lives up to the hype! I’m always a little nervous reading books that are really popular, I tend not to like them as much as others. I LOVED this book! There are so many things that I liked about this book. The tension and chemistry felt between Naomi and Knox was absolutely palpable, and Score made their relationship super spicey. The town is small, but all of the characters that lived in the town made it feel homey and welcoming. I want to go live in Knockemout! These books make me want to move to a small town. Everyone accepted Naomi with open arms, and it was easy to like her. She’s smart, sweet, selfless, loving and funny. I absolutely loved how sweet Knox was to Tina’s daughter, Waylay. There were moments in this book where I laughed out loud, but there were also moments that I cried. There is something that Lou, Naomi’s dad, says to Knox that made me cry. So get ready to literally have all the feels with this book, if you haven’t already read it (or am I the literal last one to read this book?!). Oh yeah, I’m adding Knox Morgan to my list of Book Boyfriends!
