My Review

This was my first introduction to this author and I really enjoyed this book! I was engaged right from the beginning. I love baking so the fact that Reese has her own bakery had me from the start.

Cupps does remind me of Kiersten Modglin a lot because like her, she gets right into the story. Every word of the book pushes the story forward. The tension and the suspense builds throughout the entire book. From the mystery of who is messaging Reese, to what happened to Charlotte, and even what Tucker is doing, all you’ll want to do is keep reading, keep turning pages. Cupps shocked me. I love that I was shocked. And it happened more than once. There were at least two twists in the book that I didn’t see coming from a mile away.

Cupps’ writing is easy to read. Everything flows so nicely, and the pacing of the book is spot on. I highly suggest thriller lovers, especially Modglin fans, pick up this book and read it! I think you’ll enjoy it!
