My Review

Ugh, this is a swoon worthy romance. I really am loving the fake dating trope so much. I couldn’t put this book down, it was so sweet and so satisfying. Yes, it does have some spice in it, but aside from that, it was really beautiful.

The setting was beautiful, I mean.. it’s Hawaii. I’ve personally never been there, but I would love to go one day. Aside from that, Dom and his friends treated Olivia so well. His friends were so welcoming. It was exactly what she needed. Dom was “protective” as a “fake” boyfriend. Inside though, he was so sweet and thoughtful. I love that he wasn’t a show off, that he didn’t parade who he was and who his family was around. I equally love that Olivia wanted to make sure she could be on her own, have a plan for herself and her future. I love a strong, independent FMC. It’s okay to be strong and independent and still fall in love and keep that aspect of yourself.

The author did a great job with including Rex in the novel in Hawaii and letting all of that play out, especially at the end. Equally, the author did a great job with Dom’s brother and sister in law. I especially love how protective of Dom they were!

The ending put a huge smile on my face and I loved seeing these two fall for each other. They really are perfect for each other and I was so glad to see that Olivia made the best wrong move.
