About the Book

Jules, Silas, and Grant were once inseparable — until Jules and Grant got engaged, Silas inherited a billion-dollar empire and everything fell apart.

Then the unthinkable happens. Grant is gone. And Jules is alone.

Now the only person who can help her heal is the one man she swore to hate — Silas, the best friend she pushed away.

Silas has loved Jules since he first set eyes on her. But he lost her to his best friend. And now he’s lost his best friend to something his money couldn’t fix.

But a letter arrives. Grant’s final request: Show Jules how to live again.

Silas must take Jules on the adventure she’s always dreamed of . . . with the man she hates most in the world.

From golden Spanish sunsets to the sparkling coast of Amalfi and the magic of Parisian nights, Jules wants nothing to do with Silas. But there is a thin line between love and hate. And somewhere along the way, the man she left behind, begins to look a lot like the one she can’t live without.

This steamy enemies-to-lovers, billionaire romance full of sizzling tension, heart-melting emotion and a chemistry that doesn’t fade with time, is perfect for fans of Hannah Grace, Susie Tate, Carrie Elks, Emma Lucy, Laurie Gilmore, Emily Henry and Bal Khabra.

My Review

This is the third installment in the Off Limits series and it’s another amazing installment! This book is so much more than the tropes that it lists. There is so much heart in it. I cried a few times reading it (and I was in public reading it!). It’s more than just romance, it’s grief, it’s friendships, it’s love, life, living, and learning to move on.

Everyone handles grief differently, not one way is right or wrong, and this book is an example of that. Silas and Jules each handle their grief differently, but they do what they feel like they need to do. This idea that Grant has this planned out for Jules knowing he wasn’t going to make it was beautiful and thoughtful.

I didn’t quite understand where Jules’ anger toward Silas was coming from at first, but that gets explained and then I understood. And it also gets resolved very quickly, which I really appreciated. This author writes with such ease. While it’s touted as a slow burn, I wouldn’t describe it that way. Not in this situation, not under these circumstances. It felt right that Jules gave herself time to grieve, and slowly learn to let herself live again.

When they did find their way to each other, it was also really beautiful. Silas always cared for her, and she him – she just didn’t always look at him romantically. Now that she does, it fits. And he’s such a sweetheart that the reader knows that she’ll be taken care of, she will be okay. And it’s such a heartwarming feeling to be left with when you’re done reading a book.
