“I don’t think that true love means your only love. I think true love means loving truly. Loving purely. Loving wholly.”
What would you do if you married your high school sweetheart and then on your one year anniversary, he disappears while on a trip? The helicopter he was in crashed, and he was not found. That’s the situation Emma Blair found herself in. She was crushed. She moved home, and eventually moved on. She began dating, and eventually becoming engaged to, Sam Kemper – a friend from high school. This feels like Emma has a second chance at love and happiness That is, until Jesse is found… alive, and he comes home. Now Emma has to decide – who is her one true love?
I absolutely LOVED this book. I loved reading about Jesse and Emma falling in love and I loved reading about Sam and Emma falling in love. Reid has such a way with words that the flow of the book is so natural and the words/emotions leap off the page and into your heart. I felt everything that Emma was feeling, and I cried right along side of her. The book is also insightful – who were you three years ago? Would you be the same person? And what would you do if you found yourself in a situation like this? It was hard to root for one guy over the other, because you could just feel the love. A true 5 Star book!
