Cloverhill Lakes is known for being a safe are with great schools. But when Reagan Hoffman’s car explodes killing the wrong person, everyone is shaken up. The once well put together community is now crumbling. It doesn’t help that when Regan goes to the movies, she sees her dead husband there. Then a resident goes missing. Everyone is scared. Secrets begin to surface, and now Regan is fighting for her life.
Glass writes a fast paced domestic thriller. The action starts off right away and draws you into the story. It’s quick and easy to read. The characters are all different and you don’t know what to believe. And the things you think are true, may or may not be true! This book will definitely keep you guessing!
I will say, however, that there are a lot of subplots happening here and a lot of characters. There were times that I felt it was hard to keep things straight. I couldn’t remember which kid belonged to which parent!
That aside, I did enjoy all of the action. I also really enjoyed the way that the author ended it book. So if you like domestic thrillers, be sure to pick this one up!
