Honey Braxton is the auditor with the Bureau of Magical Compliance specializing in wishing wells. Her next assignment takes her out of the city and to the country, auditing a wishing well on a farm. Honey likes things in black and white, she likes rules and spreadsheets. But once she gets to the farm, she finds a single dad, Ethan, to three girls. Honey learns that the kids have been using the wishing well to keep the farm afloat. But the once strict Honey now has a soft spot for Ethan and his girls. While trying to save the farm, Honey finds herself between who she was and who she is becoming.

This is a really sweet book with a premise that I haven’t read! I don’t really read books with witches and magic, but the focus of this book isn’t about the witches and magic. It’s about growing in who you are and going after what you want. It’s about forming relationships that you never saw coming. I loved seeing Honey go from almost a rigid character to following her heart and letting loose. .I also loved seeing Ethan go from metaphorically drowning to accepting help so that he can keep his head above water. The growth of these characters makes a reader happy.

The three girls are so much fun. They are sneaky and wild, but so loveable. The other people in town are awesome as well – so supportive of those that live there. And I cannot forget Pickles!!! Pickles is the goat that Honey falls in love with – I fell in love with Pickles too.

So if you love romance with a little bit of magic, pick this one up!
