Ivy Harcourt is a successful author, but her love life hasn’t been great. That is, until a dog almost runs her down and then she meets Liam. There’s an instant connection. Ivy may be falling for her, but she doesn’t necessarily trust him. She’s been receiving stalking messages, and even a package. She has no idea who it could be from, but it started happening when she met Liam. She has secrets that she doesn’t want to come to light, and maybe Liam isn’t who he says he is.
This was a really good read! I’d clock this book as a thriller or romantic suspense book. Whatever genre you want to call it, it definitely keeps you guessing. I second guessed who I thought was threatening Ivy a few times! I literally had three different theories! None of my theories were correct.
Most of the characters are likeable, especially Frank Lloyd Wright! (That’s the dog). I’m a sucker for a good dog character! I liked Liam as well. Though at times he felt too good to be true.
The ending threw me for a loop. I didn’t see any of that happening! And I almost wish we get a sequel in the form of a novella just to answer some questions. This is my first read by this author, but I’ll definitely read more!
