Stalk Me

By: Bianca Cole

In this Dark Russian Mafia book, beautiful gallery owner Sophia catches the eye of Nikolai Ivanov. He will stop at nothing until she is his. He’s dangerous, controlling, and possessive. He brings out a side of her that she didn’t know was there, and he draws her into his world. At the same time, Sophia is learning about her past, and the secrets that it holds. Her past can put a wedge between her and Nikolai, so what should she do?

I’ve been in my dark mafia romance era lately. I read a book at the end of August that I loved and it really got me into it. I’ve read at least one other since then and I’ve been enjoying them. However, this one was just not as good as those.

It was like the first page Nikolai sees her and he wants her. While she doesn’t give in right away, I wanted more tension and build up between them. There just wasn’t enough of it to really make me believe that they fell in love.

The author leaned heavily on the spice, and the “mafia’ stuff wasn’t there until midway through the book and towards the end of the book. And I wished I knew ahead of time how many times they were going to use the word Daddy in this book. I can’t do it – the whole daddy thing is just not for me.

I think there are going to be some people that really like this book, it was just okay for me.
