My Review
In this fake dating, friends to lovers, college romance, we meet Fee (Ophelia) and Mac. Mac is a hot shot on the hockey team and Fee is a fan and friends with the hockey guys. Mac is constantly being approached by girls and it interrupts his time with his friends. So when Fee finally has it, she tells a girl that he’s her boyfriend. But he’s not. Now he has this great idea for her to be his fake girlfriend so he can focus on school and hockey.
This is a traditional friends to lovers fake dating book, but Mac Meyers is SOOOOOO sweet! He is a golden retriever – so supportive and caring. He noticed things about Fee that were just so sweet. When she talked about her family, he let her know that he was there for her to talk to whenever she wanted to talk about it more. Fee has had a crush on him forever, but she really supports him too. She helps him and builds up his confidence.
The flirting between the two brought a smile to my face. It was really cute. There was also some spice added to it.
This was a really enjoyable read and one that I would recommend!
