Shane is part of the Irish mafia. He kills and he buries bodies. He’s had his eyes on Una for a long time. He’s always just looked, never touched. Until now. Una knows that Shane buries bodies, he has blood on his hands. What should scare her away, doesn’t. She knows she should stay away, but she can’t. Even though he kills, she still wants him.
This book is everything that you want from a mafia romance. There is action and romance. There are moments when you don’t know how they will figure it out, but they do. There was a ton of delicious tension between the two.
For me personally, there was more action and other things happening than the romance that I wanted a bit more from the romance. There is a little spice in here, but it’s not that descriptive. I think this would be the perfect book for those that want to try this genre but aren’t ready to dive head first into the darkest of books.
It is an easy read, I was able to read it within a few hours. The plot moves forward quickly, which I really appreciate.
Overall, a fun read.
