Austen is pushing 40 and she finds herself divorced and living in Paris. She has a great career and great friends. Now she is navigating being single in Paris, and Parisian men are not what everyone thinks! She joins an online dating app and has a string of AWFUL dates. So bad that she started a blog about it! But is she able to have it all, a great career, great friends, and true love?
This is such a great book. I love that Austen is a little bit older than a lot of other FMCs that I read about because it feels relatable. I can’t even imagine trying to date right now. I loved that Austen made a list of don’t when it came to the online dating profiles. The blog entries were equally horrifying and funny! I really also loved how strong Austen is, and how confident she is.
Austen travels a lot for work, and she meets men when she travels. So we not only get to go along with Austen in her dating journey, but we get to travel to many different places and experience them too!
Austen’s group of friends is literally the best. They are so supportive, and I want to be a part of that friend group. Also, the ending was perfect.
