Thank you to the author for the eARC of this book!
Vivienne and Oliver met on the Eurostar to Paris 9 years ago. She’s a photographer and she offered to shoot him and he agreed. They spent a day and evening together, ending with them sleeping together and Vivienne leaving. Afterall, she lives in London and he lives in New Zealand. Now Vivienne is back in Paris for her brother’s wedding and she’s staying with his best friend, Cam. When she arrives at his door and he opens it, Cam is Oliver – Oliver Cameron. Now she’s staying with him for 6 days, and she’s never stopped thinking about him. Only now, he’s not single.
I have read all the books in this series and I have to say that this is my absolutely favorite one! It was so easy to root for Vivi and Oliver. They were flirty and fun, I could feel the chemistry and the tension between them. I was seriously smiling along with these characters throughout the book.
This is told from both Vivi’s and Oliver’s points of few. I always love when I get the guys point of view in romance books. As a woman, I don’t know how or what men think, so I enjoy that I get that insight from a fictional character.
There are some other smaller storylines that are deeper topics, but it doesn’t take away from the yearning that is felt between the two characters.
While this is the third book in the series, they are interconnected standalones, so this one can absolutely be read without reading the other two (though those are great too!) I think this book is perfect for fans of romance.
